On December 1, 2025, SGPJB received the Grand Award in the Overseas Social Responsibility category at the 2025 Golden Key · Power Theme Competition, organized by the China Electricity Council. The company’s case study, Guardians of the Mangroves: SGPJB Mangrove and Wildlife Protection Practices, will be included in the Action Plan for Power Enterprises Toward the SDGs (2025) as a model for industry-wide promotion.

The Golden Key · Power Theme Competition focuses on sustainable development in the power sector, with four tracks: rural revitalization, climate action, overseas responsibility, and innovation and transformation. Entries are evaluated on technological advancement, economic feasibility, social impact and replicability. The mangrove protection project submitted by SGPJB is rooted in the local ecological context and systematically advances mangrove planting, restoration and wildlife habitat protection, achieving coordinated progress between project development and environmental conservation.
