As of August 27, China Energy Yuanhai Shipping Co., Ltd. had handled 10.025 million tons of non-coal cargo this year, surpassing the 10-million-ton mark for the first time and marking a year-on-year increase of 260%. The company is projected to achieve 12 million tons of non-coal cargo transportation for the full year, providing strong support for enhancing its comprehensive integration strategy and building a modern large-scale logistics system.
Since the beginning of this year, the company has systematically optimized its non-coal business structure while ensuring its primary focus on energy transportation. Leveraging its advantages of zero coal pollution and adaptable storage capacity, the company signed a 1.8-million-ton grain transport contract with partners, opening a new north-to-south grain transport corridor. The vessel Guo Neng Chang Jiang 01 undertook annual gravel transportation tasks, launching the first construction material transport service from the lower to the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
The non-coal transport structure has diversified, with core cargo categories such as iron ore and limestone increasing by 5.641 million tons compared to the same period last year. In domestic trade, the company collaborated with China Energy Huanghua Harbour Administration Co., Ltd. to implement a dual-pendulum transport model, handling 379,000 tons of pendulum-style non-coal cargo. In international trade, newly opened routes boosted foreign non-coal transport volume by 640,000 tons year-on-year.
